K. J. Beamish Construction Co., Limited opened the first contractor laboratory for the design of hot mix pavements in 1972. A continued focus on the production of construction materials and on construction processes ensures our completed work meets or exceeds quality objectives.

Our founder, Mr. Kingston John Beamish, passed away with his dear wife Dorothy at his side on January 6th, 2010. Although he is no longer with us, we remain driven by his business principle of "Customer Service and Satisfaction."

The company is guided by Linda Arthur and Robin Beamish as they take on their father’s role at the helm of one of our industry’s most successful road building enterprises. A dedicated group of construction management professionals and our loyal and capable workforce will maintain our reputation as a leading performer.

The management teams control a fleet of road building equipment, eight asphalt plants, one concrete plant and thousands of acres of plant sites, gravel pits, quarries and properties. Tens of millions of dollars of construction related activity are generated annually.

We have grown from humble beginnings. Our founder passed his values of honest, hard work through decades of managers to the employees in the field. The orange and black banner – “A Sign of Progress” will remain prominent for many years to come.
